My name is Megan, a die-hard fan of sitcoms with an absolute love for animated foods and all things adorable.
I first started A Child in the Wild Photography as a hobby in 2016 – trying to capture my children (3 and 6) before they grow up and are inevitably traded for food or adorable stuff.
While I still photograph my children every chance I get, I wanted to be able to be a part of the Grand Junction community. Doing events, charities, and giving back is something I am rather fond of. I work a non-profit that provides meals to postpartum moms and love to hike and cook in my free time. Each new theme we introduce we do so by choosing 2-3 models for free, so always be on the lookout for those!
Photographing births, newborns, breastfeeding – overall that special bond between mother and child -is something that I strive to specialize in. In addition to this, I am most known for my themed specialty sessions. These have become a true love of mine and hold a special place in my heart for their imagination and simplicity for a toddlers sake.
Our brick and mortar studio is located off of North Ave, in Grand Junction Co.
